What will be the purpose of our group and our first meeting? Should we work on increasing overall teacher technology proficiency, or concentrate on a specific objective, such as using ThinkQuest, blogging, SmartBoards, or Podcasts?
What grade level will we concentrate on?
What activities would we like to complete at our first meeting?

Okay...I typed in the optional box and it did not save my stuff.
I'd like to know more of the ins and outs of thinksquest, smartboard software (since we don't have access to a SmartBoard - see discussion) and podcasts. Rick did a podcast last year and it looks pretty cool. I'd like to focus on at risk students since that covers much of our population 6-8. Our first meeting should be looking at the variables and narrowing down what we want to discuss and how we'll make this work for our kids.
That sounds good. Since we're still having some challenges using this wiki (such as accessibility from school), let's plan on bringing those issues to the meeting and narrow down in discussion what we want to talk about first between podcasts, thinkquest, and smartboard software.
